Applied Practical Training
immerses learners in hands‑on operational experience that reinforces and extends the theoretical knowledge gained throughout their studies. The course begins with applied practical flight operations, giving students exposure to real‑world dispatch and operational decision‑making scenarios. They observe how flight planning, monitoring, communication, and coordination unfold in an operational environment, strengthening their understanding of day‑to‑day airline processes.

Students also participate in simulator LOFT (Line‑Oriented Flight Training) observation and synthetic flight training, where they witness flight crews managing normal, abnormal, and emergency situations in a high‑fidelity training environment. This experience deepens their appreciation of cockpit dynamics, crew resource management, and the operational context in which dispatch decisions are made.

The curriculum continues with on‑the‑job training in flight dispatch practices, allowing learners to apply their skills under supervision and gain confidence in operational tasks such as flight planning, weather assessment, and coordination with air traffic services. The course concludes with route familiarization, helping students understand the characteristics, constraints, and operational considerations of the routes they will support in their professional roles.
