Meteorology

This course provides an in-depth study of aeronautical meteorology, including the movement of pressure systems, the structure of fronts, and the origin and characteristics of significant weather phenomena that affect takeoff, en-route, and landing operations.

It also develops proficiency in the interpretation and practical application of aeronautical meteorological reports, charts, and forecasts, with emphasis on standard codes and abbreviations, as well as the proper use of meteorological information and the procedures for obtaining it to support safe and effective operational decision-making.
